Amanda + Brock E-session

Amanda and Brock will be married in October at Centenary United Methodist Church. They wanted an urban look for their E-session so we were off to downtown. These guys had so much fun together that it was very easy to join in and laugh with them. I can't wait for the wedding since I am sure they will be just as relaxed in front of the camera on the big day.

Laura + Eric

Laura and Eric were married on July 26th at Bauer's Grove. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony with fresh flowers, a horse and carriage and every detail was thought out. Laura loves animals and made friends with the horse "Tommy" when he tried to eat her bouquet. When she offered it to him for what we thought would be a cute picture, he acted a little shy and turned away. It turned out to be a warm day but with an evening ceremony the light was amazing. These guys made it very easy to take awesome images since they were so obviously in love.

Congratulations, Laura and Eric, I enjoyed sharing your special day with you and I leave you with a few of my favorites from your day.

(A special thank you goes out to my friend Matt who endured the heat with me to help me shoot this wedding while my assistant recovers from surgery.)

Jeannie + Marcus

Jeannie and Marcus were married in St. Lucia on July 12th. Unfortunately I was unable to make the trip to the islands for their wedding, but I was lucky enough to photograph their reception on July 19th at The Eagles. We started at Marcus' parents house for a few family formals and then it was off to the party. They had a wonderful crowd and the dancing looked like it could go well into the night. Jeannie's daughter Morgan even gave her mom the last dance while I was still there.

Congrats you two - I completely enjoyed photographing your reception and lovely photos of you as a couple!

Lisa and Bryan

Lisa and Bryan were married July 12th at Howell General Baptist. It started out as a beautiful sunny day and just as we were leaving the church to take some downtown photos, it started pouring. Luckily, we were prepared with an umbrella and a backup plan. Instead of braving the rain, the bridal party piled into the limo and headed downtown to Blush for some cocktails. Everyone had a great time and then headed off to The Ivy Room for the reception. Yummy!

Congrats to Lisa and Bryan! I had such a wonderful time photographing your day!
