Last Friday, I traveled to Indianapolis to help my good friend Connie Phillips with Joy and Michael's wedding at The Mansion. It turned out to be a beautiful day and the venue was amazing! I really wish we had something like this here in Evansville. I had a hard time picking my favorite images for this wedding, so sit back, grab your cup of coffee and ENJOY!
Joy's dad put red roses around when he married her mom, so Michael did the same thing for Joy to surprise her. How sweet!
The staircase went on forever and made a nice place to stop and take some photos.
Joy's brother playing a song for them on the grand piano. Apparently, they are a very musical family (keep reading).
When Joy's dad got up to give his speech he had her come up on the dancefloor with him. She was a bit afraid of what he may do but she came up anyway. He started talking about when she was a little girl she would ask him to "sing Puff Daddy". So, he brought out her little girl chair and his guitar and sang the entire song to her. There wasn't a dry eye in the place! (even mine...)

Brad + Jennifer {evansville wedding photographer}
Last weekend, I had a wonderful time photographing Brad and Jennifer's wedding at an adorable little country church in Hawesville, KY. Their reception followed at The Summit Golf and Country Club in Owensboro. This was my first visit to The Summit and I must say, it was gorgeous! We took a long ride on the golf cart to take some photos by a lake that we never found. My photographer friend Connie Phillips drove down from Indy and helped me out. After almost tipping the golfcart on a hill while we were standing on the back (my heart skipped about 3 beats), we arrived safely at the clubhouse to enjoy dinner, cocktails and dancing. Thanks to Brad and Jennifer for allowing us to share in their special day!
