Signature Art Album

Another new product that was introduced last year is the Signature Art Album. I apologize that I am just now getting around to posting images of it. This album is not included in any of the wedding packages but may be added to any package for an additional fee. This is a fine art book which is printed on matte finish fine art paper and is custom designed just for your wedding. It has a wrap around photo cover that matches the printing on the front of the book.

New Proof Magazine Covers

The company that makes my Proof Magazines just started offering photo covers. Beginning in November 2007, every wedding package will include a custom cover for their proof magazine.

Engagement Guest Book

Last summer we introduced our new Engagement Guest Book and it has been a big hit! Here are some pics of one of my new sample books just to refresh your memory. If you are planning to have an Engagement Session this Spring, book early so that I will have time to design your book.

New Parent Albums

I am excited to introduce our new line of Parent Albums. These have replaced the matted parent albums that I used to offer that included 4x5 or 5x7 prints. These new albums are very nice! They are a flush-mounted album with custom pages so that all the pictures remain upright. You really must see these to appreciate them. AND they come in more fabrics and colors that I could list! You can also order these with metallic prints or matte prints.

Here are all the colors/fabrics:

Super Bride Sunday

This was my first appearance at Super Bride and I must say, WOW! I have never seen so many brides in one place. It was a great show and I talked to many potential clients and even booked a wedding the day after. I enjoyed meeting everyone and am hoping that my phone will be ringing off the hook in the coming weeks. My new Finao albums were a very hot item in my booth! I shared a booth with Cottonwood Center so if you are looking for a reception venue, check out their website.

Here are a couple of pics of my booth:

Under Construction

We have been very busy the past couple of weeks remodeling our living room (a.k.a. my client meeting space). What started out as a weekend project has turned into two weeks of disorganization and chaos around my house. Anyway, we are now finished, just in time for Super Bride Sunday. Here are some pictures of the renovations:

As you can see, Andrew and Koda are working very hard!

I forgot to take a before picture, so this is the best one I have. You can see the 3 colors of paint we were trying out. We ended up picking the lighter shade on the left.

David hard at work painting, which is his favorite thing to do!

Finally...we are finished!

If you are as excited as I was to check out their products, hop on over to the website and check them out. These photos are from Finao, but I will be posting photos of my new samples just as soon as they arrive.

Happy Holidays!

I would like to wish all of my past, present and future clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I was on my way home from shopping the day before Christmas Eve and noticed a beautiful sunset starting to form. I went home and grabbed my husband, son and camera to go take photos for pleasure instead of business. It was a nice time and the sunset turned out to be amazing! There were geese flying everywhere - see if you can find both flocks in the first image. I had forgotten how cold it was and by the time we were finished, I thought my hands would fall off.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy these images because it isn't often that I have time to photograph scenics!

Kyle and Kim's Wedding

Kyle and Kim were married on December 15th at The Discovery Lodge. They planned a Winter Wonderland themed wedding in royal blue and silver which was absolutely stunning! Snow was predicted for the day of their wedding so I was very hopeful to finally be able to photograph a "snow bride". Well, all we had that day was rain and it did snow, but a day late. We were hoping for a day after session in the snow, but it didn't stick around long with the sunny day we had. Despite our weather mishaps, we were able to get some nice images and even went outside for a few. It was cold though so we didn't stay for long! After the wedding, Kim was a real trooper and even walked barefoot across the pavement to keep from getting her wedding slippers soaked. Kyle and Kim were such a pleasure to work with!

Child Labor

I am working on a project to burn and print 500 dvd's for Superbride Sunday. I am doing them myself because it was VERY expensive to have it done and I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. Well, my 10 year old nephew graciously offered to help me out (if I paid him) since he was saving up his money to buy an Xbox. So, he came over on his half day off from school last week and we finished up about 150 of them. I still have a long way to go, but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. As of today, I have all of them burned and still have 250 to print. Maybe I can put my 4 year old son to work too! :)

Here are 400 of them stacked up. I guess I should have stacked them all up to show how many there really were.

Nick...hard at work!

Ahhhhhhh! Progress...

My poor little dvd burner sure is working overtime!
